Default NL25: Flopped Trips, does the money go ALL IN?

I was not so sure about what to do in these two hands: Villains were fairly fishy though (50/30/3)

HAND 1

Full Tilt Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com

SB ($28.35)
BB ($23.80)
UTG ($25.05)
Hero ($43.65)
Button ($52.30)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1</font>, Button calls $1, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

Flop: ($2.35) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $1.5</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $3</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $6</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $12</font>, Hero calls $3.

Turn: ($23.35) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $3</font>, Hero calls $3.

River: ($29.35) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $10</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $39.3 (All-In)</font>, Hero calls $20.65 (All-In).

Final Pot: $99.30

HAND 2

Full Tilt Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com

MP ($40.75)
Button ($12.20)
SB ($25.30)
BB ($43.25)
Hero ($33.80)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.75</font>, MP calls $0.75, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, BB calls $0.50.

Flop: ($2.35) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $1</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $3</font>, BB calls $3, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $8</font>, MP folds, BB calls $5.

Turn: ($21.35) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $34.5 (All-In)</font>, Hero calls $25.05 (All-In).

River: ($80.90) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 2 all-in)</font>
.

Hand 1: Gay raises...raise more and I shove his 3bet on the flop. He could do that with any J with these stats.

Hand 2: Again, you should read about raise sizing. Your call on the turn is fine.

The "TJ is da nutz" theorem?

"If TJ is in any way the nuts, someone has TJ. Moreover, if any player could have TJ, he has TJ."

it's either that or a pair of sixes for the full house

good you bring that up i have big problems with bet sizes

for Hand 1:

would 2.10 on the flop do it? and the reraise, you saw that we both have about 200 BB right? Should I reraise to about 9 or 12 (3 or 4 times his raise) and then shove?

Hand 2:

Also bet about 2 on the flop?

Your bets are too small too, but I was talking about your raises. Don't min raise. A good raise should be around pot size + his bet size (or raise size).

So let's say the pot 10$ and he bets 7. The pot is now 17, you should raise around 23. If he bets "normally" (66%/100% of pot), then 3x or 4x his bet is a good raise.

Just stick it in on both flops.
Bet flop on 2.

Adjust raise sizing.

i'm fine getting all my money in on the first hand on the flop

2nd hand: the check/double flat call really scares me. Usually, I'd assume he had a monster like JJ, but since you have a J, and its doubtful he has J5, i suppose we put him on a hand like AJ. I really don't see what hands we beat here, but against a donk I suppose its a call...?

p.s: just because they both had AJ doesn't make it a bad decision.
