I grew up playing PC games and still do. I think Halo's single player sucks but it's multiplayer is great and blows that of pretty much any other console game out of the water.

BioShock isn't quality action? Ok dude.

When I ran it a couple of weeks ago all I got was shooters and racers and I was disappointed and the games not in the top 10 didn't get very good reviews. That was my basis. Obviously there are some new games that just came out that are doing well such as NBA 2K8 and Skate. Did you not read that I'm going to try Eternal Sonata? My personal opionion is that the next gen games, besides a few like bioshock, halo, and a few sports games, have disappointed me. I'm not trying to bash anything, and I apologize if it looks as though I'm trolling. I'm really not. I'm just in dismay owning both systems and not having a plethora of great games to go to. Maybe I'm in a niche market that doesn't go out and buy every decent game, but I'm waiting on a good game that I can waste a lot of hours on and besides the forementioned games I feel unsatisfied.

Again Dire, I apologize if you feel I'm trolling, I'm just trying to throw my opinion out there on a community forum for people to take or leave at their discretion.

Yet again, I'll repeat repeat: You mentioned you want 'variety'. What sort of game are you looking for? And what do you mean that those not in the top 10 didn't get good reviews. There are 61 XBox 360 games with 8/10 or higher average ratings. There are 115 with 7/10 or higher average ratings. This does not include any of the ~100 games on Live arcade.

You're just not making much sense with your "critiques", and refuse to clarify what you're looking for.

i own all 3...... gears is ok but its a shooter...condemned isnt that good imo... and dead rising is a solid game.

however i expect ps3 games to be more complex due to the fact blurays have almost double the space

Depends what you mean by "complex." The extra storage space can allow for more detailed game assets (mostly textures and models I imagine, or in-game video, but could be any other game data) but it wouldn't have any effect whatsoever on gameplay.

Okay, this whole "which console is better" thing is so unbelievably stupid and nerdy. This thread is retarded because multiplatform games should be irrelevant in choosing a system. If you really care whether the quintuple buffer paleostropic antialiasing buffer is better on the PS3 COD4 than on the 360 one, then you need to get a life.
