Default ron paul for 2008?!?!?

From his website: "I support the Access to Medical Treatment Act, H.R. 2717, which expands the ability of Americans to use alternative medicine and new treatments."

Does that open the way for medicinal marijuana? Do you think that would be good?

I agree with a lot of his views. I know it's kind of early, but he might be getting my vote.

Edit:/Jman220: Moved to the Politics Forum, expect a lot of responses by a lot of far-right wing posters arguing that he is the savior of mankind.

It's News, Views, and Gossip, but see how it's underneath "General Poker Discussion"?

Ron Paul wants to end the federal war on drugs. Your state will probably still [censored] you over though.

Jman may no longer moderate here, but he is still a member of the community. Lay off please. I for one am curious about what power the President has to liberalize drug laws.

He could do mass pardons, that would be cool.

I know if I were elected president I would feel like I had to pardon any federal prisoner who was imprisoned based on unconstitutional laws. That would be part of that whole oath of office thing.
