Where do you get these? Do the casinos give them out/sell them or do you have to get them elsewhere? I have a friend in Vegas and I'm trying to help her lose a little money as possible.

You can buy them in most any casino gift shop for a buck or go to www.wizardofodds.com and print one out.

you can sometimes get them in the casino gift shop, but there's no guarantee that it's the correct strategy of what they're dealing at their tables (plus, most casinos are offering at least two different BJ games in different pits simultaneously).

the best (and cheapest) bet is to go to a site like blackjackinfo.com and generate a custom strategy table for the exact game that the casino is offering. if you tell us where you plan to play, me or someone else here can tell you what the rules are to plug in.

The problem is that I'm not there with her. Therefore she has to get it from somewhere rather than me printing it out for her. I guess I'll just have her get one from the gift shop and hope for the best.

the ones in the gift shop should be good enough. the changes for different rules usually have a pretty small impact on EV.

you can send her a link if she has access to e-mail (and a printer). this chart on wizard of odds can work for 95% of the shoe games on the strip.

Your friend can print off charts and practice for free using their game. Once she can regularly get into the bonus round on the most difficult level she will have mastered basic strategy. I don't play much BJ any more, but I still like to go there for a little mental workout and check out the high scores. My best bonus score on the difficult level is 37.
