Default Blackjack House Edge (how so?)

I searched and couldn't find the answer to my specific question. So I'm asking it here.

Playing with basic strategy, a player can bring the house edge down to about 0.5% with standard Blackjack rules right? Players get paid 3:2 for Blackjacks, Dealers don't. Players have the option to stand before 17, Dealers don't. Players have the option to split and double down, Dealers don't.

So my question is, with all these options given to players, what is it that give the dealers that slight edge?

The dealer acts last; often the player has already lost (ie, busted) before the dealer has to do anything. It's a very powerful advantage.

Yeah it's that if the dealer and player both bust, the dealer wins.
