bring to POG, it's starting to annoy me too now...

i think Qe1 is a good idea, but i can't think that far ahead on how white would counter

edit: meh, Be5 has good merit too

If white is stupid Qe8 is a decent play white rook takes queen. Pe8 makes a queen, check ,only counter is to move their knight in the way taken by our new queen check. Their only counter is to move king to a7 followed by our bishop to e5 checkmate. That offcourse is assuming he takes our queen to begin with, which he doesn't have to its guarded by his knight.

Edit: nm his pawn can block our bishop but it should be an easy checkmate from there

i remember when my grandad taught me how to play chess, we would sit by the fire place and he would teach me how the pieces moved, and i remeber saying "grandad, how does the horsey move?" and then he said "it's called a knight you [censored] failure", ahhh good times, good times. then he would usually beat me.

And the answer depends on white's move, of which there are only 2 logical moves... possibly 3.
