2 weeks ago I lost a $1650 pot at a 1/2 $200 max buyin.

I had aces and a chance to shut out a bunch of people behind me and go heads up with an allin (who had 63o) for a $300 pot. But I let them come in behind with bad odds for a much much bigger pot with almost no implied odds and I got outflopped.

I lost a ~$3,600 pot at Motor City casino last year.

I'm embarrsed to even tell the story but...

Me and another were about 1.8k deep, if you can believe it. There was a lot of money on the table because this was back when they had must move tables and the main game got VERY deep for 1/2. Like $500+ average chip stack.

Anyway, EP raises to $15, MP calls, I call from SB with 55 and villain in BB calls.

Flop comes AcQ5c.

I lead out for $60.
BB calls.
Fold.
Fold.

Turn card comes a 9s.
I bet $200
He makes it $600. I tank, and eventually push because I am a greedy SOB and was playing for 18 hours and so on...

Anyway, his Kc9c holds up and I went home and threw up.

The next day everyone was talking about it.

Worst poker experience of my life.

Ugh.

$2200-2300 at Borgata

There were two guys with over a thousand in their stack. I can't remember the exact action or board but it was along the lines of K-3-7 7 K. On the river the pot was no bigger than 75 bucks. The first guy checked, and the second guy moved all in. The first guy called right away without even thinking. He shows his K, and sure enough the other guys shows pocket sevens.

BB raises to $20 after a bunch of limpers. Everyone calls.

Flop is QQ9.

BB pushes all in for 600+!! Next person beats the BB into the pot with his entire stack of 600+. Everyone else folds. Total pot $1300+.

BB shows QQ for flopped quads. Caller shows 99 for a boat.

She pushed all-in, first to act with quad Qs - and got a call from the only hand that could really call. How lucky is that.

Not as big, but limped pot. Flop is all hearts.

UTG bets $5. UTG+1 raises to $20. UTG+2 calls.

UTG re-raises to $100. Call. Call.

Turn pairs the board.

All-in. All-in. Call. Total pot ~$1000. Apparently the board pairing scared no one.

Everyone flopped a flush. Q-high takes it down, to J-high, and a 6-high flush that missed redraw to a low straight flush because both outs were in the other players hands.

Three flopped flushes, all next to each other.

Only way this could be weirder is some one had a K-heart draw and the straight flush got hit on the river.

biggest i've ever seen is a home game.

UTG (with 1200 behind) bets 50.
1 fold.
Big stacks(about 2400) raises to 200
Next guys is all in for 300
All fold to UTG who shoves AI. Big stacks calls and turns over QQ. guy with 300 shows KK and UTG shows AJs lol. big stacks makes his set and drags down the $2700 pot.

And yes...it is 1/2

I took down a $2,100 pot in Council Bluffs when the WSOP circuit event was going on last year.

Some guy had been running over the table. He'd built his $200 up to just over a G in the first hour. Along the way, he'd gotten it all in with top pair twice (to flush draws) both held up.

I managed to pop him by slow playing Q-Q preflop when it was just the two of us in the blinds. The sweet [censored] justice of it all was that it folded around to us, and I'd asked him if he wanted to chop before I looked down at my cards. He said no (the dude was a world-class dick), I looked, limped and he popped it to $20.

Flop came 10-9-2. I checked. He bet pot. And I tripled his raise. He pushed. I called. He showed J-J.

Brick – Brick and I’m $1,100 richer. Too bad I went on to play for 17 more hours over the four I’d already played. At least I booked a $10 win.

I won a $900 dollar pot at the Taj on Memorial Day.

I was sitting with about $350 dollars when I started the hand. I was dealt K9 suited and limped in on the button after a few callers. The Big Blind raised it up 7 or something else just as dumb. Everyone called and we saw a flop of K 7 9 rainbow. The SB checks and the big blind bets 15. Everyone folds and I make it 50. the big blind then check raises another 50. The big blind fold and I think about it for a minute or two. I'm worried about a set but i'm sure it's more likely he as AK or something. I call (I'm sure I should have raised) and the turn is another 9. He instantly goes All-in and I instantly call. He has me covered and looks pretty upset that I called as quickly as I did. He turns over his slowplayed aces and doesn't hit the river.

It felt so awesome taking 3 hands to stuck up that huge pile of chips.

I lost a ~1500 dollar pot at Mandalay in 1/2 when my flopped boat got beat by runner-runner quads by some donk with an overpair. Got it all in on the flop.

That was maybe 6 months ago and I still feel sick thinking about it.

his turn card was enough to win him the pot, DUCY?
