Default Another Bot Question

Everyone is against using things like winholdem, but are you against bots used only by the person that codes them themselves?

oh yeah I'd love to have online poker become a game of a ton of bots playing all the time...lol. What kind of question is this? Who in the hell would be in favor of having bots fill the tables?

Do you think someone can just throw together some code and produce a winning bot overnight?

The leading edge of poker bot development includes bots that adapt to the player they are playing. Admittedly I've only studied the stuff going on at UofA but their latest bots do adapt to you.

this will destroy online poker as we know it!

first the legislation, then party banning american players, and now this??? if it wasn't already getting tough for players to make decent money now we have to battle against bots!

Personally, I would welcome bots if they were somehow only run by their creators. At least for the short-term, until they are all perfected. The biggest problem is keeping them to their owners only as that will never realistically happen.

Bots exist. Bots are present. If you want to watch a good bot now go watch any of the 50-100 Heads up limit holdem games at ultimatebet. The following players are bots.

isaac168
St Justice
banana234
maomao88

there are a whole lot more. Watch there timing. UB doesnt give a flying f**k because bot or human both = rake.
