any of the big 3 powers gone, and the other two would have gone down as well.

britain - launching base for US troops for d-day, as well as being a constant thorn in germanys western flank + defeating them in africa.

USA - industry and manpower, supplying allies with weaponry etc

russia - sheer size of the front germans had to fight along, and how much they had to stretch themselves to reach it, and the rediculous amount of manpower, and eventually industry the russians had available to them (mainly thanks to the USA + britain propping them up for the first couple of years).
