Default What is a good win rate at 1/2 nl - BB per 100 hands.

Hi everyone,
I'm fairly new to poker, just wondering what is good win rate at 1/2 no limit. Either in BB/100 or hourly rate?

i suggest you look at the SSNL sticky, it contains a host of useful info. this is actually one of the questions you aren't supposed to ask according to the said sticky

btw i would say

1-3 - well, you are winning, so it is still good but you probably have alot of leaks

4-5 - solid winning player, probabaly better than most of the regs

6+ - very good player, one of the best regulars at the level

and you need a tonne of hands to get your true winrate, there can be massive short term fluctuations, so don't read too much into your winrate until you have played alot of hands, probably 50k at least

I'm mega impressed with anything over 6.
If my winrate is 5ish over 100k hands I'll be thrilled. (And rich!)

lol at thinking i meant 50k for a true winrate.

i only imply that you can start making some basic assumptions about your winrate after 50k hands.

eg - i have a winrate of 5ptbb/100 after 50k hands, i am probably a winning player
