The walk is a good idea. However, you're never going to wake up one day and say "I really want to go for a walk." Regardless of what the exercise is, its not going to be fun for the first few times, you've just got to find something tolerable and stick with it for a bit.

This is not specific to this thread, but I wonder what % of people round up their height. Off the top of my head, I can't really think of anyone that has said they were significantly shorter than what they actually are, but there are lots that are obviously not as tall as they claim.

I think most people posted their heights taller by a inch or so and skinner by 5 to 10 pounds.

I can see a short guy exaggerating his height, but not anyone over 6 feet.
