Since you like both politics and history, you probably would like "The Great Transformation" by Polanyi a lot. |

i have read pretty much every beatnik book there is, along with most of my friends, there is one book most of them have not read i keep giving to them and it blows there mind. William burroughs wrote the foreword to it, said it basically made him want to be that....

Anything by Phillip Roth ("The Human Stain" is my fav.)
"Consider the Lobster" by David Foster Wallace is the best book I've read this year, but it is essays, not fiction. |
