Default Facing the dreaded donk

This hand makes me wanna puke, but i cant see any other way to play it. Folding must uber-weak and and while raising will occasionally give me a cheaper showdown it wont protect my hand and it might very well fold out hands that i want to see showdown against.

Villain is 38/15/1.7 wtsd 40 over 100 hands.

Hands like this do suck. If he's capable of playing a flush draw this way and will bluff the river if he misses it works for me but if he won't bluff the river if he misses I raise the turn for a free showdown.

this strikes me as read dependant, but (hell yeah) raise thr the turn and fold to the 3 bet. Not that i know [censored] from adam.

Plus, without reads, 3 bet preflop and lead flop would be standard in my book.

The only good thing with raising the turn is that we will earn 0.8bb against a draw if he doesnt bet the river UI. But if he got a lower pair he is going to hand us another bet on the river that we might loose if we raise the turn. I just dont think its worth it.

I raise the flop for value, not for a cheaper showdown.
