Default Just sell before any Fed decision and buy back after the markets calm?

I have never seen a Fed announcement have a good short-term effect on the market. Im beginning to think its prudent to just to sell right before the Fed decision and then buy back afterwards.. Has anyone ever employed this strategy?

if there were any profits to be made using this system over even an unreasonable sample size people would be doing it.
