Nooooooo. You are much better calling and letting him bluff if thats what you think is happening.

You just turned aces into a bluff. Not really a good idea at any level and def not at ssnl.

Im thinking he has a set here far more often than a flushdraw. Maby im supposed to, but im not that comfortable stacking off with only a overpair. But yeah, thats why im posting this. Maby im supposed to just stack off because its +EV over time.

Why do you have to stack off? Because you have aces? Vs a couple of the nits I regularly play against I instamuck to this flop raise and don't think twice about it.

Seconded. Villain is very tight, hates playing OOP, and chk/raises massive on flop here. Who raises a draw that aggressively OOP? Not a guy with these stats...

Instamuck to flop chk/raise.

I dont think hes bluffing... I just wanna find out if he gets 160bb in and if he does with his stats I suppose him to have the set. Also if I raise to 150-160 Im showing real big strengh and if pushes still over it?

If we call the pot is so big that villain easily gets all in the middle by the river and we dont know what hes holding?!

Well it probably beats aces if he bets all streets with it.

Let him be the one to insert chips oop while you both gain more info to put the story together.

What good is bumping it up to 150 if it just scares away the made hands we beat?

Call and push on the turn baring a q Doesn't come. We have A of spades . so if a spade comes we are still live and might want to check down! or just call!
