You should raise the turn for the reasons others have stated as well as:

You want 89, J9, J10, other gutters to either fold (allowing you to win the whole pot if their gutter comes on the river) or call getting incorrect odds.

Raise the turn, Nick may even check call the river to induce a bluff in which case you earn the minimum.

ps. does dcb777 still play? I thought I saw him on his last leg back in early summer.

Isn't this the second thread today where you're basically calling for comments only from people who play the FW 20 game? I don't think the game is so unique that people who play in AC, Vegas, or Cali haven't faced the same game texture.

And add me to the bandwagon: The flush draw makes the turn a mandatory raise.

joe, the best way to get around worrying about the regs laying hands down to your big street raises is to convince them that you're bat [censored] insane. or you can take the route of actually bluff raising big streets on occasion against the right players

ps. limp is standard preflop imo and the turn is a must raise.

I think your posts indicate why it is best to raise.

Not to mention the idea that one of the first two people who checked (TOA and other caller) could be checkraising Nicky on the turn,

Are you worried about getting 3-bet?

which would then come around to me again when I could make it $120. I thought there would be at least a small chance that would happen.

Anyways I guess I thought that if I raised to $80 both calling stations would fold and Nicky might fold if he didn't have a huge hand.

If you trust your read then raise them. If everyone folds to a turn raise, then you can do it more often in the future.

I'm not trying to get too involved with Nick.

And why is that?
