Default So I followed a fish up in stakes

This guy luckboxed 1k at a NL .5/1 table yesterday playing 44/7/1 over 700 hands. People kept bluffing off their money to him and he kept calling with crap and winning.

This table was really soft and I wonder if I really butchered this hand, in terms of extracting value. I thought about it afterwards and I didnt like it. Thoughts? Have in mind that we are facing morons.

SB: $160.90 (37/5/1.5)
BB: $454.55 (50/2/0.75)
UTG: $388.78 (44/7/1)
Hero (MP): $467.70
CO: $394
BTN: $412.80

Pre-Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP)
UTG calls $4, Hero calls $4, 2 folds, <font color="red">SB raises to $16</font>, BB calls $12, UTG calls $12, Hero calls $12

Flop: ($64) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players)
<font color="red">SB bets $16</font>, BB calls $16, <font color="red">UTG raises to $32</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $92</font>, 2 folds, UTG calls $60

Turn: ($280) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $196</font>, UTG folds

Results: $280 Pot
Hero mucked 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and WON $472.50 (+$364.50 NET)

iso raise pre for sure

i think flatting his minraise or making a bigger raise are both better than making it 92 on the flop

well the thing is, no matter what you do its going to look a bit odd and or strong. I think id probably flatcall tbh, hope one of these other guys shove a set/2pr or a draw. If we raise i kinda like a shove or making it like 200ish. It seems like UTG is stationy so he will probably put us on a draw and call with TP.

I think this is a hand where we want as much moneys in as possible on the flop. Obviously he's a station, and we want to get money in when he has top pair before any scarecards come.

I'm not too fond of playing this spot incredibly fast. Fish seem to be scared of two things, flushes and aces. He may scamper off with a lone pair if you play this too fast. And for all you know, he may actually be making a 'play' with Q or K of diamonds, in which case another diamond actually isn't a scare card but the card he's fishing for. I would probably call the flop, planning to raise alot of turns unless it looked like somebody else was going to get the money in for us. It's completely transparent, but it doesn't matter against this type of player.

As played I make it $120 on the turn. It's a very small bet that's easy to call and will leave $160 for the river into what will be a $500+ pot.
