Heres a simpler way to put it a turn raise

still got a possible turn bluff from him
protects us from any draw
will reveal villains hand strenth
will alow us to value bet more accuratley if we improve whn villian chks to us on river......
or call the turn....... uhh yah.

Raising the turn is just about the worst play imaginable. It destroys all value in our hand.

There's one flush draw and zero OESDs on the board. Opp having a good draw is pretty unlikely. Also, given the weak line we took, Villain protects us from his own draw by bluffing turn and bluffing river

This is an abbrieviated way of saying "We get to fold out all the worse hands and get called by all the better ones"

I'm in this situation a ton because I love to play suited Ax.

I think it's better to call a turn bet and then v-bet the river yourself.

agree, flop check is fine imo

play it the same and fold

raising the turn is not that bad i don't think, since there are a lot of 5+ out hands he can have that we beat. It's basically a range merge, but its also a showdown raise. If we make it like 34, he calls, and the river goes check check a lot, simplifying our decision making process.

------If we fold out draws then im fine with that, if we fold out some shitier made hands we wont really get much more value from them besides the generous turn action they iniated. If you suggest a turn raise is nothing to be considered then well.... i have nothing mo to say to ya.

Raising the turn makes sense to me too. I am fine with call it too though. However, I would probably tend to call this river bet if I am just calling the turn.

I don't know that you have a good enough read on this guy to raise preflop. That's personal preference though.
