1 final fantasy bball league...

Ok guys, I pmed all that are interested in the league info. I planned the league draft for this coming weekend (saturday at noon). so hopefully we fill it by then. we'll worry aboutp ayment assuming we gte 20. ill start harassing people (from this forum) about joining in 2 days if it doesnt fill

I'd be interested at $50. Not that I'm too cheap to do $100 (although, coincidentally, I am) but I don't care enough to spend that much. Mostly I'd like a league that features the NBA thread regular contributors like you, kidcolin, Aloysius, tdorko, ClassicBob, zorbie, GKA, westhoff, artdogg, TSC, et al, but a lot of those guys don't seem to be responding to these threads so maybe not.

I was thinking about starting a free one for most of the above posters, but I would do this one as well (or both if there are more cheapies like me).

Edit: Also, I would prefer the multiple payouts rather than winner-take-all, because I am poor. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

You can have multiple buy-in levels if you want.

All you do is put $50 from everyone in the main prize prize pool, and then if there are a bunch that want to do $100, you put the extra $50 into a secondary prize pool with the money going to winner among those people.

I think it would be awesome to have penalties to keep people interested.

For example if there are 20 people at $50:

1. $750
2. $375
3. $150
4. $0
5. $0
6. $0
7. $0
8. $0
9. $0
10.$0
11. -$5
12. -$10
13. -$15
14. -$20
15. -$25
16. -$30
17. -$35
18. -$40
19. -$45
20. -$50

a few rule proposals:
1. last 2 teams have to pay an additional 50/each. this prevents total tanking from those eliminated *early*
2. do ppl just want basic rules? anyone want to do something sexy like 3 cat league of points assists rebounds? I thought it would be cool.

I want to be in this league, but would like confirmation on whether it's 50 or 100. Also by "20 league", do you mean I'll be in this league for 20 years?
