Around here at least, "beer pong" and "beirut" mean the same thing (the game without paddles where you toss pong balls across a table into cups.) In fact, most people around here have never heard of Beirut, they just know it as Beer Pong. Though, "beer pong" can also refer to another game where you actually use paddles and it plays a lot more like pingpong (as in the movie Beerfest.) In general, when you hear "beer pong" assume they are talking about the game without paddles. [/ QUOTE ] Has anyone ever seen anybody actually playing with paddles more than one time, if at all?
