I've never played beer pong outside of a couple times at parties, is this some really intense competition or something? Why are you guys even nitting up a fun game like this to begin with? If you're playing a penny-stakes home game with friends and everyone's on beer #5, are you seriously gonna start calling string raises preflop?

beirut is not a game, it is a way of life. I actually almost cried at a pregame when I lost in triple overtime once

Somehow this explains a lot.

The only times I get seriously pissed when I lose is when the house is ridiculously crowded. Beer pong always gets first priority at the keg and it's the quickest way to get [censored] up.

FWIW put the ball in a pot on the stove and warm it up and the ball will return to it's normal shape. I also like the "fatboy" idea. I also think it's a cup, drink it, but that's just an opinion.
