Be warned, there is a section where you want to bitchslap SK repeatedly for being a retard, but he redeems all with the ending.

In fact, any SK pretty much rules. And check out the Bachman books - they are a very different feel. And his nonfiction book On Writing is really amazing and aspiring.

And if you liked Ender's Game, check out the parallel Shadow Series. It opens up with Ender's Shadow which tells Bean's story and goes up until the end of Ender's Game. The rest of the series then tells what happened on Earth - how Peter became Hegemon for example. It is AWESOME.

And another vote for classics - I would just start picking stuff off of college booklists when I got bored and found some real gems. There is a reason they are classics.
