I had an exactly same hand and did this exact play on skydancing and sucked out on the river w a K, he showed 35h, and then cried about it for another 15 min.

A few things:

If I'd seen him stack off light I would have said so. He played loose preflop and by "bad" all I mean is that he was probably taking dumb lines.

I don't believe that if I posted this hand as villain and I had 88 you guys would be telling me to call.

Isn't the size of his flop bet a glaring tell?
