I think you have to include a possibility of a set to hand 1 and take at least KK and probably even QQ out from hand 2. I don't think that a nitty CO would slowplay KK and QQ pf.

Does a true nit really raise that flop with JJ/TT?

No.

This is more like the range I would put these players:

Text results appended to pokerstove.txt

105,651 games 0.005 secs 21,130,200 games/sec

Board: 7d 9d 2s
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 22.350% 22.35% 00.00% 23613 0.00 { AcAd }
Hand 1: 37.996% 38.00% 00.00% 40143 0.00 { 77, KdQd, KdJd, KdTd, Kd9d, QdJd, QdTd, Qd9d, JdTd, Jd9d, Td9d, 9d8d, 8d7d }
Hand 2: 39.654% 39.65% 00.00% 41895 0.00 { KK, 99, 77, 22 }

IMO CO holds a set here almost every time and BB has to have it too once in a while. Folding equity is probably 0 if you push and calling with AA here is never good so I think the only right move here is to fold.

BB is very passive. Typical fish. His lead/call is a litlte strange and makes me think he has a weak overpair or more likely a FD.

[/ QUOTE ]

if this is the case shouldn't we raise his flop donkbet?

CO has to have a bigger range than that. Give him a couple flush draws and another overpair at least.

Donk u shouldn't play on a site where vilain can have Kd9d,Qd9d,Jd9d,Td9d,9d8d on a 9d7d2s board.

Anyway fold, u are against a set a little bit too often.

Yeah, maybe.

I expected CO to fold and then the fish would either lead turn and I would raise AI or he would check and I would bet/call or bet/bet.

I also wanted to see what CO would do since a raise from him is bad news but a call would likely mean something like TT/JJ or FD, and I could play accordingly vs him too.

Text results appended to pokerstove.txt

685,377 games 0.031 secs 22,108,935 games/sec

Board: 7d 9d 2s
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 38.257% 38.26% 00.00% 262207 0.00 { AdAs }
Hand 1: 27.278% 27.26% 00.02% 186805 153.00 { KK-JJ, 99, 77, 22, KdQd, KdJd, KdTd, QdJd, QdTd, JdTd }
Hand 2: 34.465% 34.44% 00.02% 236059 153.00 { JJ-99, 77, 22, KdQd, KdJd, KdTd, QdJd, QdTd, JdTd }

This is probably fairly accurate. I gave them both sets, some overpairs, and some flush draw combos.

Anyway at the time I thought this was a pretty clear fold, which I did, and then CO turned over KK and BB had QJdd. KK won. I puked.

I think the call is pretty neutral, maybe slightly +ev, or at least a much closer call than I thought while playing the hand.

thank you very much. Tips can be sent on Stars. My first reaction was admittedly fold too, but as I pointed out, it seems we have to shove because their ranges aren't clearly defined. I really do think there is something to the theory that you can never fold the top of your range no matter what the action is.

And this is def the very top of my range considering I was playing 25/19 at the time.
