Ok, i've been watching UPC cash poker for a while now and i've been wondering about this for a long time, and i am still not table to answer the question, so i seek the MSNL expertise

How does Bob Bright win?

This is a live poker 75/150 w/ 25 Ante cash game, i notice people are usually at least 200 BB deep

There is this player that seems to be always on the show, his name is Bob Bright, he's a LV native, etc.

his playing style baffles me, i don't understand how he could possibly win, He basically plays like a classic calling station.

Has anyone ever seen this show and watched enough to know what i'm talking about?


I just don't UNDERSTAND HOW HE WINS?!?!?

LOL i'm not even sure if they are related, but seriously though i'm curious? is he just donating in the game? or is he like a big winner?

He's a multi-millionaire, not from poker.

I've played with Bob Wright (it's wright, not bright) live, and he is NOT a winner. He is a millionaire due to hedge funds and the likes, and plays as high as the 100/200 venetian game. (Where he donates)

Some plays he made include overbetting limped pots with top pair, open limping in late position, and folding to small reraise preflop in position. so, he has leaks.

fwiw, to give you an idea of how bad he is, a game with viffer, brandon adams, and him, was appealing for mikech (splitting action with me / azk) however they were playing 100/200 w/ a 100 ante, to the extent that the game was playing 200/400. (And 50k min buyin) so it was a little out of our bankrolls.
