why is lead > check? You think this guy is quite likely to bluff over a lead?

I really dont like calling pf. I think folding>>4bet>>>>>calling there. 4betting pre maybe better if he 3bet you a ton before.
Also it's propably better to make it 8 preflop.

I like a shove on the river if he respects you.

I see this quite a bit in 3-bet pots where I have been hammering on the guy. Not to say this is the situation, but in certain situations you have to expect it.

I would guess Jfish sees this a lot more at MSNL where people are better at assigning ranges and thus bluff more vs certain actions

im just weighing up value of getting his cbet vs leading. Although probably not a great idea to go against jfish!

as for the ranges thing, if a tag lead into me in a 3b pot id give him credit the 1st time. i think it would be a pretty big spew to bluff shove over a lead here.

So against me a lead wouldnt be great (unless you had air )

Also, if we c/c he is just as liable to bluff shove the turn then he is to bluff over a lead (maybe?)

Preflop is questionable, but its not terrible.

River is easy fold as played. I personally wouldn't check this river unless I was folding.

I think C/c is pretty strong on this board, and if we c/c and he bets the turn I think it's a fold.

i think people overvalue initiative and when you donk into the pfrr i think he will greatly overdefend. especially considering he usually has 2 overcards on this board making it a pretty reasonable semibluff for him.
