13% PFR is quite easily doing this with AKs, QQ. I had a guy with more solid stats do this with JJ to me the other day when I had AA so if the only read you have is the numbers then insta call.
He has AA = cooler

Yeah I was rating 10 sa being the worst. 180 bbs doesn't make too mch difference IMO (Not from a 1/2 player anyway) as a bigger push looks more scared. If you have him down as being a good player you'd have to have a real reason to believe he thinks you have KK to push his AA like that to be ble to fold.

I don't hate it at all, dchz. The guy raises 13% of his hands. That's overall, but he's in MP here, so he probably only raises 9 or 10% there. Maybe less.

When faced with your significant re-raise, he chooses to four-bet push. What fraction of the 9% or 10% hand-range do you think he does this with? In my experience, it is quite normal for people to only do that with the top 10% of what they could have here. (Think about it, doubters: how often do people like this push when you three-bet them deep? 50% of the time? 20%? Less, I suspect.)

So if this logic holds we need to put him on the top 1% of possible holdings. So that makes it AA, KK, or possibly AK but weighted much less than the monster pairs.

If he showed you AA you'd fold right? For a guy with a 13% PFR and a solid game, given the stakes and the stack sizes, he's coming close to showing you AA here. I would need to have seen him push AK when deep-stacked, more than once, in order to want to call this.

I'd say 5. I don't think it is that bad with a read. also do you have any stat on his 3 betting tendencies ?

guys, never folding KK preflop is a basic strategy that you should usually follow because its harder to make mistakes not folding than it is otherwise. HOWEVER, if you dont trust your reads you will never improve as a player. this is something that annoys me as people live by lame blanket statements like "never fold KK pf for x bbs." dont be afraid to make a thin fold/call/raise when the situation warrants, it should be obvious!

I would fold this vs certain people sure. It has to come down to your feel for the guy.
