coaching charges
Hey, I have no experience in coaching and I'm just gonna begin to coach some small/micro stakes players (50 & 100NL). I'm playing poker for 1 year and 8 month and I have moved up from 0.05/0.1NL to 2/4NL. At the moment I'm a 5ptbb winner at 2/4NL over a good amount of hands. How much should I charge for one hour of live coaching and how much should I charge for some hand analysis on AIM or msn messenger ?
Thanks. |

Re: coaching charges
ssnl is usually around 100/hr and uNL is around 50-60/hr, but if you have no experience i'd recommend charging less

Re: coaching charges
Hi Mat'
I don't understand why you want to coach somebody ? You win more when you are playing, isn'it ? That's just to have a "fixe" (rakeback is better !) or you want to help an other player ? |

Re: coaching charges
Coaching is less stressful and has no variance.

[/ QUOTE ] You obviously make less money at the beginning but if you're coaching good and end up to have a good reputation you can raise your charges, then the difference between your winrate and your coaching charges won't be that much. And like BigPoppa said there are other advantages, this is less stressful, no variance, and it can improve your own game. |
