Default 400nl: Missed FD, I\'m glad it didn\'t hit.

Villain is a loose-passive station.

Preflop: Hero is dealt 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (9 Players)
UTG calls $4.00, 4 folds, CO calls $4.00, BTN folds, Hero calls $2.00, BB checks

Flop: ($16) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 Players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks, CO bets $16.00, Hero raises to $48.00, BB calls $48.00, 2 folds

Thoughts on whole hand?

Not sure I like the flop raise, CO potted it into 3 other people, not sure what he is folding - did you have a read?
The cold call by BB smells like a donk with a FD. From your description I could put villians range on (22, 55, 34o, naked club draw). Could he make this call with naked KJ/QJ/JT?

I think firing another barrel on the turn is in order, around 90-100$ , if he continues after that and you strike out on river I'd be done with it.

Oh yea I do like the river bet as played, I def think he fires on the turn if he had a set or TP/2p.

At the time the only read I had was that CO was just another loose passive bad player and that his position bet was probably just that, a position bet. I was taking a chance with him but I figured since he limped from the CO he shouldn't have a strong hand. Sure he could have flopped real good but it was a risk worth taking imo.

I don't know villain well but I think the cold call makes a FD his most likely holding, although he is bad enough to cold call with TP here. I would suspect him be more spazzy with a set or 2 pr.

I don't like the turn bet so much but I'd like to hear some more responses before I put in my 2 cents.

I prefer to lead the flop for $14. Don't like river either. I think you have the best hand a decent amount of the time and he's never folding a J.

I'd like an half pot turn bet.
As played, I'm not sure about the river.
