Private forum or not, I think that's ridiculous, but this isn't the place to debate it. 2+2 also needs to read through these forums once in a while and check in on the job some of their mods are doing. Judging from a few recent posts, it looks like they might be losing one to kindergarten this year.

Actually, "About the Forums" section below this one is where this stuff is discussed. Cola, Mason, Matt all come in there and discuss this type of stuff.

Exactly -- i would hope that the free market would keep any site's management from messing with people's posts willy-nilly. In other words, I can't see that there would be much of a demand for discussion censored arbitrarily, as opposed to censored for rational causes that reflect the desires of the community.
