I'm not really feeling a bet/3bet AI on this flop guys...

I know, me either. But what else is the point of donking on the flop?

I like the way this hand was played. You do have outs if called. The only thing that I could see changing is the check raise size. If he calls you on the turn are you going to shove the river?

IDK that there is any point of leading the flop.

Yeah I didn't want to raise too much because I was planning to shove the river if called. As played I'd be betting ~$135 into a ~$175 pot.

Very well played. I like your thinking.

Anyone else have comments?

My thoughts are basically that the 9 on the turn presented an opportunity to bluff out better hands, even though there is a good chance my hand is good already. I can rep it well since I just called preflop and on the flop and I am in the BB.

So if he has a low pp or AK or something I take the pot down immediately (I wouldn't get any more value anyway and he could suck out), and if he has TP I can likely get him to fold either on the turn or river.

Normally if the turn was a brick I would just check/call and hope for a cheap showdown...
