Default NL10: messed up aces

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.05/$0.10
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $8.70
UTG+1: $3.90
CO: $10.35
hero: $15.95
SB: $13.95
BB: $10.10

Pre-flop: (6 players) hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, CO folds, <font color="#cc0000">hero raises to $0.55</font>, <font color="#cc0000">SB raises to $1</font>, 2 folds, <font color="#cc0000">hero raises to $3.75</font>, SB calls.

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($7.7, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets $0.1</font>, hero calls.

Turn: 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($7.9, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets $0.1</font>, hero calls.

River: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($8.1, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB is all-in $10.55</font>.

The Sb was a bit of a maniac. About half an hour before this hand he pushed all in on a 2-diamond board with 83 diamonds and it hit. Pre-flop is standard, or could I have raised more?

Not raising flop is bad I guess but I was cartain he would call or raise any bet. But I'm making excuses I suppose..

Call river?

given the way you played this hand i snap call this river. i see A LOT of bad uNL players doing these little tester bets. i think they think if hes just calling these little bets and not raising, his hand is not so great. once you just call the turn micro bet there is just too good a chance villain thinks you have crap and a)thinks he can blow you off whatever you 3bet with PF or b) his worse hand is best....a distant c) would be that he has the K.

otherwise, PF is good but i think you have to raise the micro flop bet for value. if he calls then i would most likely check turn and call modest river bet.

As played I don't think we can call river here. We need at least a good read to do so. You have to raise that flop, there is no excuse for putting him on a K just like that. The only K he plays like that PF is AK. Much more often than that it's QQ JJ TT etc.

I think Cobra was pretty spot on here. People do this all the time, make tiny bets on flop and turn then a big one on river. However during the hand I didn't really analyse it like that, besides the fact he was very aggressive. I called purely out of spite, he had pocket 77s and he instantly sat out. It felt good, though I know I played the hand badly.

imo calling the flop bet is not really bad although it prob is better to get 3 streets of value.

If you just call both of these minbets an agressive player will bet big on the river every time. Sometimes with a K, most of the time with less or even nothing.
