i like this way more on a different board or with more of a read on villain as far as river play goes, because the problem witht his hand vs say TJ w/ a T on board is just the sheer number of outs that most hands have against us and the chance of us giving 88-TT a free ride here.

i thought i should call again on the turn, and then i thought his line was super fishy bc if he has a big hand he cant bet so small on the turn. looks more like a hand that wants to get to showdown "cheaply". unfortunately i didnt make that read then, and folded the turn. no idea what he had, or a good range, so thats why i figured it was an interesting spot and post-worthy.
fwiw, my plan was to push if he bet a club 6 or 7, bet/call if he checked and those cards landed, and check behind on a blank if he didnt bet. (and probably call a non spade non ace river)
not even sure if it was a good plan or not.

my thoughts exactly, with more then 200bbs it was a weird spot. 100bb im all in on the flop
