a magic kiosk

sell magic tricks

easy to advertise, you could just do magic tricks to people passing by all day.

it's such a good idea i think i might do it.

that is pretty good, but you'd have to hire people capable of doing decent magic tricks to run it.

half the appeal of the store is the main salesperson. I don't know about you, but I don't want to buy a job in the mall.

There was a place like that at the "underground mall" in Atlanta. There was a pretty decent crowd of people around this guy for his tricks. I watched him do 3 tricks and each time atleast one person paid to find out how to do it.

I've heard from a few owners of these kiosks that employee theft is their biggest expense. That is the biggest problem, i think, with kiring out the operation. If I were you, I'd go out and become a member of the biggest church in town and only hire high school students from church.

glad this was bumped...

The kiosk idea provides month-to-month rent and usually no CAM (common area maintanence) charges...so the flexibility is always nice

Employee theft is usually a big problem, but keeping overhead down will involve the owner/starter of this franchise to be the key employee in charge of the point of sale location (bling bling machine)
