Default Overpair on low flop 150BBs deep HU vs. shipurstack

Fish just sat out and this is my second hand with him (planning to leave after this hand). In the first hand, he raised PF, I called, then I check/folded to a CBet on a 9s-J-Ks flop. In a 6-max game I have him running at 28%/22% over a couple thousand hands.

He strikes me as the type of player who would want to establish himself as the aggressor in the beginning of a HU match. But, as I've never played him HU before, I don't know for sure.

hm id say fold unless you have a good read, which it doesnt sound like you do

didnt see who villain was, just that you called him a fish...
this being shipurstack actually swings this to a call for me but it is close

Pretty interesting hand. I'm not too crazy about your line but I think a call is in order.

I didn't mean to call him a fish, I suppose I worded my OP poorly. I meant to say A fish (not shipurstack) just sat out, which is why I'm playing HU against shipurstack.

Then what's a better line?

what, no value in flop raise? he isnt calling with flush draws 8's small PP's, straight draws etc?

I think this line is good as long as you called
