Default I took a very weird line but I really love the way I played this hand

5/10 NL, full ring:

Ok first I need to give you guys background on this hand. Villian is DooMeRFD, who seems to be pretty decent but I have owned him in the past. He seems to be getting pissed off because of this and at this table he is directly to my left. Everytime I have limped in the sb (everyone else folding) he has raised me 4x bb to 40. He did this 3-4 straight times, and I folded each time.

So it gets folded around to me again, and I have AQ suited, and I decided to limp again because obv he is going to raise. He obv raises again to 40, and I did think about limp raising, but I opted not and just opted to flat call (dont ask me why I have my reasons).

EPiPeN11: checks
DooMeRFD: bets $60
EPiPeN11: raises $210 to $270
DooMeRFD: calls $210

I opted for a check raise here, I flopped a nut diamond draw and probably have 2 overcards as well as a ton of fold equity. However when he called, I thought there was still a decent chance he was floating vs me (he also did wait about 10-15 seconds before calling) since I made my line look very bluffy on purpose by looking like I was fed up with him raising me and also made a bigger check raise size than I normally do (I normally would check raise somewhere between 170-220 and i'm pretty sure he knows this).
*** TURN *** [7s 3d 9d] [Ac]
EPiPeN11: checks
DooMeRFD: bets $750
EPiPeN11: calls $654 and is all-in

This imo is a perfect turn card for me (aside from the diamond coming). Not only do I hit top pair with 2nd kicker with outs for a flush draw which is a favorite vs his still pretty wide range, the ace is a perfect bluff card for him and I expect him to do it with just about 100 percent of his range as of now. So I obv check it, and of course pushes all in like I expect him to and I snap call.

I won't post the results until later on because I don't want it to influence the hand, but what are your thoughts on how I played it? (I am going out right now, so I will respond back later tonight or tomorrow morning).

LRR preflop. idk if I like the giant c/r. Turn play is obv ideal. We give him a chance to shove worse.

I hate preflop, but flop and turn are standard IMO.

For the people who hate preflop and didn't say why they hate it, I assume you wanted me to limp re-raise right?

Given the circumstances I like your limp nonetheless.

I personally think the limp is a no brainer. The only part where I think anything is in question is if to limp call or limp raise.

Do people regularly open-limp the SB at 5/10?
