First 6 months with our second was hellish. Our first was 2 years old, and we had major sleep issues.
It gets a lot lot lot better after that though. Now they play together (2 and 4) which is wonderful.

As far as the impact with the second on the way.... you forgot to mention that it's not double the work.... it's triple. Dress the oldest Dress the youngest Redress the oldest as he/she has squirmed out of whatever was put on to begin with Clean up spill Clean up copycat spill If they are both still in diapers..... well, no explanation necessary.

Yes, two is a bit more work than one but I think Jake will be just fine. His son can no doubt dress himself, buckle into the carseat autonomously, and is generally past the totally helpless stage (WHEW). Once they get the sleep thing under control then they will be good to go. Besides...it's really too late to turn back now! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

From that picture, you should still be wondering.
The real story came from a basketball game. I was guarding a dude at the top of the key, and he pull a little move on me and bolting to the right. I lost my balance and started falling down and just grabbed for something that was going to break my soon to be nasty fall. In the process my index finger went right in his ear. He started calling me qtip and every picked up on it from there.
