Re: Seven-Card Stud for Advanced Players
Hi!!
I've always faced Stud only in Horse-tourneys. I have to admit it killed a lot of huge stacks because I suck. The general rules are known, but I'm really bad in Stud. According to some posts I'm qualified to understand the book. ( already digest some none stud 2+2 books) Hope this one will improve my stud! By the way?? Any hi/Lo references in this one??? Re: Seven-Card Stud for Advanced Players
Nutsfolder,
No hi/lo reference in 7CSFAP. You'll need Ray Zee's hi/low split poker for that, which is essentially two books in one (it covers both stud and omaha hi/low). Add Sklansky on Poker, which has a substantial section on Razz, and you've got HORSE covered. Jase |

Re: Seven-Card Stud for Advanced Players
Thank you for that helpful information!
I think I'll choose at least two of them (5 bonus books.) Ray Zee's book sounds very interesting too Nutsfolder |

Re: Seven-Card Stud for Advanced Players
Your mileage will vary, but Ray's high-low book has made me more money than all other poker books combined, and I've read something like 130.

I don't have a lot of hi/lo experience other than some mixed games I've played in, but this book was a tremendous help right away. I think it might be the best poker book in print, regardless of game. After I finish rereading 7CSFAP I'm going to reread that one again also. |
