Live vs. Online
I'm 18 years of age, and have been playing and beating 5/10 NLHE online for a while. I was just wondering, once I turn 21, how does live play differ from online play? I'm talking mostly difficulty, but also the amount of money you make live vs. online. The reason I ask is because that is my ultimate goal, to play live, so I was just wondering what you guys think of it.
Thank you. |

Use the search feature on this site. There are many threads that already exist on this very subject.
Good luck to you. |

Re: Live vs. Online
if you beat 5/10 NL then why dont you take a vacation to europ / canada / Turning stone (or other place where you can play at 18) if you "ultimate goal" is to play live.
Also if "for a while" means more than one year, you were doing some under age gambling and you may have your thread lock. |

Re: Live vs. Online
There are recent threads on live vs online winrates. Search function is your friend. Check in your area to see if any casinos are 18+. predicting any poker games 3 years out is folly.

Re: Live vs. Online
By a while, I mean less then a year, about 2 months or so. Also, I really don't want to take a vacation, because my parents would prolly kick me out if they found out it was for poker, and sorry, but I feel like talking to my parents and not having to support myself just quite yet.
But thanx, I'll use the search tool i guess. |
