XPOST: Interesting AI thread in the Poker Theory forum
There is quite an interesting thread developing here on "Will computers dominate poker as they did with chess?" and I just thought it might be of interest to some of the more computationally minded posters from this forum. A lot (including Aaron Brown) seem to think that it will never be possible which kind of surprised me.

So far 1/3 of people seem to think poker AI will be able to beat all players within 10 years and 4/24 seem to think it will never happen (both of which still surprise me!).
