Default QQ 50nl

Villain is 40/0/3

Should I give this guy credit for an 8? Should I be raising the flop?

Personally I'd raise to about $10 on the flop and shut down if he calls. Ive noticed most people with stats like this guy like to c/c the flop with a big hand and c/r the turn. Im assuming he would normally take this line if he had an 8.

I dont like calling this flop because you dont know anything new. I think raising here gets you A LOT of knowledge and doesnt cost too much money.

Yeah. Im fairly confident that an 8 c/c or c/r this flop. And I dont think an 8 would bet 90% of the pot on the turn. I think there may be a good argument for shoving the turn here but I wouldnt like doing it.

What are you guys putting villain on with the way hes played it?
Without raising the flop im finding it hard to put him on many hands we beat except maybe 1010?

For some reason I think he is trying to buy this pot. If I were to give him a range after the flop we would probably be behind but I really dont think he has an 8. The only thing Im worried about here is JJ or 55 (once again I see him checking this flop with 55).

here is the range I would give him.
AJ+, 67, 55+, A8, A5, K8s, 87, 89 and any 5. Discounting all 8s and 55.

I just have this wierd feeling this guy is "putting hero on" 2 big cards AK, AQ, ect. He thinks he can buy this pot with almost nothing. I have a hard time calling or folding with how this hand was played but that is why I would have made it $10 on the flop.

Range your put him on seems to be quite off here..

I would raise flop and get it in with a smile in my face. His pre-flop AF is low which means his post-flop AF should be even higher.
