Default $200 NL - I Suck at Three Bet Pots?

I think my biggest leak is playing three bet pots properly. Like this. Is this right? If not, why? If so, is this the biggest hand you'd fold here?

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $200.00
Hero (BB): $434.35
UTG: $320.50
MP: $293.10
CO: $337.75
BTN: $197.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
3 folds, BTN raises to $7.00, SB folds, Hero raises to $22.00, BTN calls $15.00

Flop: ($45) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $24.00, BTN raises to $75.00, Hero folds
Uncalled bet of $51.00 returned to BTN

Pot Size: $93.00 ($3 Rake)

I usually make it a bit bigger preflop say 25, cuz we're out of position and we won't let him in cheap.
I also tend to bet 2/3 of the pot in RR pots.
But ye fold when he repops you.

Any reads?

Make it $28 preflop.

Bet harder on the flop, if you must bet.

Not one.

I don't like the idea of three betting more when OOP. It inflates the pot but it doesn't increase our fold equity in the slightest. Nobody's going to call $22 but fold to $24.

The cbet size is because I don't have to worry much about implied odds, so there's no need to charge him to play. If I cbet 3/4 pot, I am asking people to setmine me...

We're not only betting for FE we're also betting for value.
It's so that he will make a larger mistake if he decides to call with a low pp, or any other hand that we will have dominated.

3-bet a bit more.

Check the flop. Bluffing is silly. No one folds a Queen or KK+, and you crush everything else. Since you have no reads you can't assume he'll call with lower-pps, but even if you did, your plan of c/fing later streets means that this is irrelevant, because plenty of people will bluff you on all kinds of cards if you check the turn and the river.

You ever play a 3 bet pot? if he is calling 22 he's calling 24 like you said... however he folds with the same frequency on the flop and we hit a hand with the exact same frequency regardless of what we bet.

If you don't understand the reason you are 3 betting, why are you doing it? We simply stand to win a bigger pot when we raise more. You are raising (in part) for value in this spot.

On the flop, I suggest betting more because I think your fold equity is slightly higher if you raise ~$10 more, it looks stronger, this is what you want when you have air in a big pot.

However, if your read says he will fold for less, by all means bet less.

STatements like this put me on tilt.

We don't WANT fold equity. Fold equity!? Vs. what? A Queen?

Ya, right, GL w/that.

You want villain to CALL if you bet this flop. Otherwise, betting is retarded.
