Check. Take the free card. You are either Way ahead or Way behind, maybe another club will come on the River? But either way you don't want to play a big pot with your KK on this board.

This situation confuses me. I understand the idea Mike presents. Checking behind controls the size of the pot, but with so many draws here, do we want to give a free card?

What about making a half pot bet (doesn't give odds for str8 draw) and seeing how villain responds? If he re-pops, then we fold?

I donno...

You have half your stack in the middle if you do this and fold. It's not good to do that in theory or practice. If you check. You can call a decent size bet on the river. You aren't maximizing the value of position if you allow yourself to be check raised off of a premium hand like KK.
