So that got me thinking... what sorts of things would you consider just flat-out unamerican?

Diets
Saggy Breasts
Speedos

I think Americans are the only people in the world who "diet" (Usually unsucessfully mind you)

[/ QUOTE ]

wtf are you on about? The rest of the world barely has enough food to survive so we don't need to diet?

This is a tough one. I always tolerated the movie since the chicks dug it but now Tom Cruise is a total douchbag and I don't have to try to get laid.

[censored] Top Gun!

But I do love baseball, football, red meat, James T. Kirk, and just about everything else that has been listed so I'm sure the Top Gun thing can slide...

I've liked pretty much everything you had to say bison, but this takes it's to a whole new level.

Ummm, what? I responded to a poster who said that Diets are un-American. I'm saying that we are pretty much the main country in the world who "diets." The majority of the world is struggling for food. Most of Europe and the industrialzed world consumes food in moderation relative to their everyday activity. So the concept of everyone being on a diet because we ate to much McDonalds and Ben and Jerry's and our ass got fat is mostly American.

No No No. I am way too lazy to bend over and open a cabinet to throw something away. Bullet trashcans with swinging lids in the kitchen is as American as you can get.

Hidden trashcans are for insecure puritans who think visible trashcans and vaginas are evil.
