Agree about a raise preflop here with this stack, 4xBB, then with more action or overs on the flop, throw it away. The non-raise PF is due to playing JJ as middle pair I guess, something I do myself in the early stages.

Yeah,I normally raise here pre flop,I've just been experimenting with over calling TT and JJ in the first 2 levels,which helps to keep me out of trouble early on.Is this not a good idea?

It's a better idea when you don't have position. From the button, a raise is probably in order. Don't fear playing big pots with position, but playing big pots OOP is bad enough that limping from early position makes more sense.
