Default 4 of final 6 in WCOOP 200 rebuy from Sweden.

Was watching the replay and noticed this. The cities are Smalandsstenar, Umea, Ockelbo, and Stockholm.

There is an army of swedes out there, some very good. But what happened to the swedish highstakers? They seem to be not even close to the americans these days...?

Sweden has had huge internet gaming community for years, now those players are switching to online poker. They are competetive and thats why becoming very good.

This is true even for me. But I still get the feeling that it is not what it used to be. Pick the top 15 online players in the world today compared to 2-3 years back and I think we would see a negative trend for the swedes. Today I feel that Finland is stronger for example..?

in some countries playing is tax free on sites that operate in the European Trade Area, so a lot of players choose these sites instead of the biggest taxable ones.

Finland is also doing very well at WCOOP:
WCOOP $530 PLO event; two finnish players at the final table (3rd and 6th) and a total of 10 cashes for finns
WCOOP $320 SH NLHE event; finnish player 3rd
WCOOP $320 7CS event; 3rd, 12th and 25th players finnish
WCOOP $320 HU NLHE event; finnish player 2nd
