The thing is villain like never has a set here.
Villlain never has AK or AQ. I think he would raise KQ a lot pf and I think he would bet q9 almost always on this flop.
Basically I think the only better hands he ever has here are K8 and K9. So raise that river to like 250 and let him call with Kx or Ax or w/e stupid [censored] he has.

i think theres a ridiculously huge difference between raising to 300-350 given the line taken and him tanking and calling with kq than saying that he wouldnt call a min-raise with TP given the way the hand has played out.

it is of course also possible that he was playing way too many tables and timed down, but it seemed like he was thinking at the time I posted this I guess. I also don't think this matters at all, but its a 2-table sng fwiw.

the thing is, what is he putting me on? i dont ever have a high set, i rarely have an ace or a big queen, the only real draw was a gutshot broadway so yea maybe sometimes (but i prob. raise turn a lot), or a low pp that setted up? and yeah 98... it mostly seems unlikely.

if he had a bare ace or king based on my reads of how he perceives my range (And im not saying this is infinitely correct, thoughts on how he'd view it? it seems legit when i go through it in my head, this is of course why i posted the hand), i just cannot see him folding it to a raise to 2-250, and for lack of a better read possibly 300. the fact that its bvb kinda pushes it over the edge for me, but yeah....hope that all makes sense.

If you look back in the thread I said I was fine with a minraise because it widens his calling range to the point where the minraise is slightly +EV
