Default ***Bet Sizing***

I play fairly tight and think it may be more profitable to size my pre-f bets to 6bb. I think there have to be opponents/tables where this is more profitable then the standard 4+1bb. Maybe on the button/CO I will only open to 5bb. Anyways I would appreciate the other 50NL regulars opinions on this.

I haven't tested this so I don't know but will try it for a couple thousand hands and see what happens. The way I see it is that I want to build the pot asap and mess with the calling stations. I'm sure it will be annoying for them if they see that every time I raise they have to pay 6bb to see a flop. And if it doesn't bother them and they decide to see flops than even better.

The biggest problem I see with this is that it may cause the calling station to play tighter verse me pre-f effectively forcing them to play good poker verse me.

What do you think would be the cons and pros of doing this at 50nl?
How would you change your game if you were to force yourself to follow this strategy?
