I just made an even money bet that Celtics don't win the Eastern Conference. It's obviously a +ev bet even though they will have a solid team. I told my friend Bulls would win the East. I just think they have the team to do it. I am a Knicks fan though. We will have problem on the defensive side.

playoffs or reg season? i mean either way it's a good bet.

I honestly think they will have a solid team with 3 all-stars. As a Celtics fan, will their be a problem with not having surrounding players if they don't sign any major role players, or a problem with chemistry?

After reviewing that list, I realized we all crap on the East quite a bit. There are some good teams.

On paper, it has to be Detroit, Chicago, and Boston, in that order. Cleveland, Washington, Miami, Toronto, and Washington the next best.

Actually a few other decent teams out east, NJ, Orlando, potentially Milwaukee.

I think the reason everyone craps on the East is because nobody in that conference can touch San Antonio, Phoenix, or Dallas. Their top teams are on par or maybe slightly better than Utah or Houston.

Anyway, I picked Chicago and Boston. I really think Detroit is going to fall off a little bit this year. I can just see KG beasting everyone because he's so excited.

Top 2 seeds will be Detroit and Boston.

Top 2 teams will be Cleveland and Boston, with Boston winning the East.

I'm a tard and only voted once, but I'd say CHI and DET, in that order, for the regular season. I'm thinking along the lines of Clark and GKA.

Agreed that WAS is getting dissed this offseason.

The question isn't which team finishes 9th and just misses the playoffs.

I really hope not. I need to see the Knicks in the playoffs.
