Default NL100 cheked down, 3 bet river

granted that I played the hand like [censored], the river min-raise was to induce a call from TPTK etc.

question: should I have just called his 3x raise on the end, he only had $26 behind

Bet somewhere, please!

The turn at the very least.

And yes, you should call his 3bet all day and twice on Sundays. I'd start thinking about folding here if we were 3+ BI's deep with the same action.

i think you should bet the flop most of the time, you're going to get action from a lot of hands that you have slaughtered. checking behind turn as well is awful, there are so many one pair and SD hands that may call.
on the river, i think 4betting ai is fine.

As played, get it all in on river and don't think twice about it.

I'm sorry, but this hand really makes me cry. If you are worried that your opponent will fold to your flop or turn bet, you need to be betting every board. You lose to much value when you slowplay good hands, and you lose value from checking hands where you have initiative and neither of you have made a hand. Those pots should be bought. Your reluctance to bet on even the turn (where a 9,T, or J will call) makes me believe you are not aggressive enough headsup.

Your minraise on river is pretty bad, too. Your opponent does not have TPTK (after checking this much), and if he did, he will call much more. If you think he will fold to a larger raise, then he is a nit, and you should be running him over in other hands.
